This privacy policy governs how De Barnes International Education Consultancy Group (De Barnes) stores, uses and disseminate information that may be collected when subscribers use our website www.debarnes.org or any services purchased through the website. Any material changes in the way De Barnes uses or stores personal information our subscribers will be notified prominently. De Barnes will announce the material change on the website and/or email subscribers regarding the change with at least thirty (30) days’ notice prior to the change taking effect. De Barnes do not collect, sell, use, or disclose any information about subscribers to any Third-Party entity except when required to do so under the law and are and are governed by the Freedom of Information Act in the City, region, and Province in which we are incorporated.

HOW WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION

Once subscribing to De Barnes, we will collect information from you such as your name, postal address, email address, credit card information and/or telephone numbers, that will be used as identifiable characteristics (“Personal Information”).

Registration:

Upon purchasing a service or product you will be asked to provide personal information which will be used throughout the admission application and scholarship process.

Academic Partnerships:  We may make your Personal Information available to Colleges and Universities selected by you for the interest of completing the admission and or scholarship application process. By providing your personal information you expressly consent to De Barnes disseminating your personal information to your selected Colleges and/Universities in consideration of admission and scholarships.

Surveys:

We may from time to time ask you to complete surveys or opinion polls in an effort to further improve our customer service. Your participation is voluntary. The information obtained will be used in an aggregate manner, with no individual identifiable characteristics.

Blogs and Forums:

From time to time De Barnes will provide an opportunity for subscribers to post information to blogs, forums or other public areas that are implemented on our website. Any Personal Information you voluntarily post to such public areas of our websites, that can be read, collected, or used by other visitors to these public areas are outside the realms of this Privacy Policy.

Inquiries:

Any questions or inquiries to our customer support center will be retained solely for the purpose of providing a response as well as an opportunity to improve our site and customer experience and will not be made available to third party entities. The Information will be used to communicate with you the subscriber.
